I purchased the navy blue for a wedding. I like that the tie was long enough to give you options of how to wrap the dress. The dress was super comfortable and flattering. Even though it is velvet it was not overly heavy or warm. Also, I'm only 5'3 and the length was perfect. Even without shoes on it was a good length.
