I love this dress but it does have a couple troubles. I will start with the good: It is well made, thick material. After washing, the pleats stay in place. It does not wrinkle almost at all. I am tall so I was worried about length... but the length is perfect... hits right at the top of the knee. You can dress it up or down. Its comfortable. The bad: The top is a little revealing for my style so I have been throwing a little jacket over it - but no worries there is no slippage/janet jackson moments happening because of the shape of the top! I have wide shoulders so I was expecting the width of the chest to be perfect, but it is still pretty loose around the breast part and armpits. Adjusting the straps helped a lot but then made the rest of the dress look more like a babydoll style, which isnt my taste. Its a keeper, even with the small challenges it comes with. Love this simple black dress and will keep it in my closet for date night, events, and more casual events if i pair it with a jean jacket.I normally wear a medium but I was unsure of the sizing because of the reviews. For reference I'm 5'7" & 175lbs & normally wear a size 10 in jeans. So I ordered a medium & large just to be sure. The medium was perfect! This was a great little dress for the wedding I was attending. I ordered the solid black & paired it with a blue jean jacket & cork wedge heels. It was so cute!! In length it hit me right below the knee. Also it was super comfortable & it has pockets which always awesome to find in a dress!! lol. I would highly recommend this one!I will say though you will need to wear a sticky bra with it as it has no padding & a normal bra would show. Other than that it is the perfect little black dress for any occasion.I like the dress. Material is good. I knew that it would fit as stated and would be comfortable enough for a wedding, the reception and the after-wedding club night planned.I'm 5'2, 145lbs with 34D breasts and the medium fit like a glove. The dress gives great support but I wore pasties for nipple coverage.I have a small chest and waist but wide hips...I originally bought a medium but had to return for a small so my chest would fit appropriately. Material is great and dress is comfortable. That said, I would not recommend for someone with a large chest as there isn’t any support there and the coverage is small. Hip space was great and it flowed nicely. I wore to a wedding and out for date night.I have this dress in several colors and I absolutely love it. Super flattering fit on any body type and the length is perfect, since I am really into midi length dresses for everyday work attire. Pair this dress with a denim jacket and a pair of wedges and you are set to be work appropriate, and still stylish enough for happy hour after! A+!Originally ordered an XL per size chart, my waist is about a 34, chest a 40. The XL was sloppy returned for a large, black, fit was beautiful! There is a bit of a stretch. Highly recommend, will be begging my hubby for every color!!!!Well made for the price
