I got this dress for a formal event (masquerade ball) and it was perfect. It fits great, is flattering and best of all, it has pockets! I tried on a lot of dresses for the event, but as soon as I put this on I knew I had found my dress. I did have to go up a size but once I did, it fit perfectly. I was concerned that the off-the-shoulder fit might slip or gap, but it did not (there seemed to be some structure to the 'sleeves' that kept it in place but was not uncomfortable). The only issue I had with the dress is that it was a bit too long but that is nothing a tailor can't fix. The dress is not overly skimpy but is not matronly or 'mother of the bride' looking (although it would be a great MOB dress). Honestly, it is truly gorgeous - if you are thinking about this for a formal event you have upcoming, just go ahead and get this - you won't be sorry.
