This dress was gorgeous!! And it’s looks just like the picture and looks expensive! Very impressed !I bought this dress to chaperone prom for the high school my husband teaches at. It was on a yacht in the San Francisco Bay. Ordered 2 sizes, 10 and 12 and I usually wear a 10; I'm 5'6" 157 lbs with 32DD bust. The first thing I noticed was the two dresses both ordered in lavender, came in different colors. The size 10 was too small (couldn't zip it up) & markedly more pink lavender but not a huge variance. Still, know that the colors might not be the same if you order several. The colored fabric was very heavy and hot because it is thick polyester. The dress was so pretty; be aware it has a little train. I didn't know when I ordered that it is totally sheer on the sides so I had some side-boob going on. I didn't wear a bra and it held my boobs up pretty well; I was slightly nervous about not wearing a bra because I am 31. The lace was so pretty in person, but some pieces of it were coming undone =( I super glued them down. Not the absolute best quality but the price is so good for such a pretty dress that fit me pretty well. My tummy was slightly pooching out because I recently gained a few lbs but such is life I guess! I felt pretty.This dress is gorgeous! It looks like a much more expensive gown. In fact, my seamstress said it is a copy of a more expensive gown that she worked on for someone else. I'm sure the original cost much more. This was my third try at buying a dress online, so I was not too hopeful, but when it came, it fit perfectly! (except for the length, which I expected) I am 5' 3" and 125 lbs. I usually wear a 4, but I followed the directions and ordered a 6. It was the right call. I will say this - I think the proportions are better suited to shorter girls, like me. My daughter tried the dress, and she is 5'7" but also usually wears a 4 or a 2, and although the dress fit her, the waist and hips didn't seem to end up in the right place, making it look awkward. On me, it was just right. The hem is unfinished/serged, and there is a good amount of train in the back. I had it reduced so I don't step on it when I turn. The applique work and rhinestones are really stunning - very "special occasion." My daughter is a pageant girl and she was very impressed. One thing I didn't realize from the pictures is that the material under the applique is sheer to the waist, meaning a strapless bra doesn't work. There are soft foam cups in the dress, but really they are just for coverage, not support. You need a sticky bra if you want support.Overall, a beautiful dress, and a good fit for a more petite person. Well worth the price! Shipping does take a while, so order ahead!Upon looking at the reviews prior to my purchase, I decided to order 2 sizes up because I am pregnant & I read that the dress runs small. I wore this dress to my units Army Ball & I got many compliments. If you have bigger breast, get a bra that compliments the color of your dress because the pads that are made for the dress aren’t going to suffice. The dress is a bit long so you will have to hold it up when you walk unless you are very tall or wearing really high heels. I am 5’5 and currently 172lbs & 8 months pregnant & I ordered a size 16 just so it would fit over my belly. The dress wasn’t tight at all. If I’d have ordered a size smaller it would have fit like a glove but I would rather be comfortable instead of being unable to walk. The dress is very comfortable. The material is nice. The slip under it is a bit short but the dress isn’t see through at the bottom so it doesn’t matter. Just make sure you pull the slip down after putting it on or going to the bathroom because it will rise up & make the back look wrinkled. The picture looks like the accent on the dress is silver but it isn’t, it’s gold. It’s much more beautiful in person. I would definitely recommend this product and order with this company again.Bought this dress for my Anniversary with my boyfriend. I measured myself to the size chart they listed and it told me to get a size 12. I’m 5’3 and weigh 140 lbs. It fit very comfortably and is a very nice, thick material. Honestly I could have went a size down and it would have been more form fitting. The top was the only issue I had. It was a bit loose and I’m a bit bigger in the chest so the bra cups that are sewed in didn’t offer me much support. I bought a cheap lace, black bra from Walmart and it helped fill it out and fixed my problem. Overall I LOVE this dress and for the price I’m so shocked and amazed at the quality. The stones do tend to fall off but it isn’t noticeable. You could easily buy some and fabric glue more back on if needed. I would definitely recommend. Definitely measure yourself. The chart was true to size for me and it scared me cause people were saying these dresses run small but it was spot on for me. Only other small con was the length was very long but the train looked elegant to me and wasn’t much of a bother.I wore this gown for my senior voice recital in college. It was absolutely beautiful and I received a lot of compliments. It sparkles very nicely under stage lights! The only complaint I have about this gown is that it is ALL SEE THROUGH IN THE BODICE. It only had nude bust cups and was all open in the front and back. Based off the picture of the model, I assumed the front was covered with an illusion back, which was okay as I would be facing the audience the majority of the time. However, when I received the dress, it was all open. I just purchased a yard of black cotton lining from Joann's and hand sewed in a piece of fabric in the front. It fit perfectly, and I am a regular size 8/Medium, so I order a 10, as it is recommended to go up a size from your regular street clothes when purchasing formal wear.I bought my wife this dress but needed minor fitting adjustments on the shoulder straps. But over she looked beautiful with it.
